Dr. James R. Martin
Dr. James R. Martin was born in Ithaca, New York. After graduating from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, he attended medical school at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont. He completed his post-graduate training in General Surgery and thoracic/cardiac surgery at State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He is board certified in general surgery and thoracic and cardiac surgery. Dr. Martin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is also a member of several professional societies including the American Heart Association, Michigan Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Wayne County Medical Society, Oakland County Thoracic Surgeons Society and he is a contributing author to several articles. His special interests include minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complex cardiac repairs and general thoracic surgery. |
